Frequently Asked Questions:
What type of tattoos do you do?
I do blackwork, both shaded and fineline. Also expanding to some realistic color plant tattoos as well.
I’m always excited to tattoo plants, mushrooms, critters, landscapes, and anything nature related. I default to drawing everything botanically/anatomically correct, but also open to more illustrative and abstract styles if requested.
I do not tattoo onto faces, hands, feet, or genitalia.
When should I expect a response?
I plan to respond to all emails on Mondays, so look out for an email from me the following Monday. If I get backed up, it may take up to 2 weeks to respond. I am currently scheduling in order of waitlist form submissions and expect about 6 months to catch up. Please fill out my waitlist form to be added to the scheduling queue. Thanks!
What is the difference between a custom tattoo and a flash tattoo?
A flash tattoo is a pre-existing design that I have already drawn up and posted on Instagram available for anyone to book. These are often non-repeatable and will be reserved based on whoever fills out the booking form first. Custom tattoos are when you come to me with a specific idea in mind, and I draw/design the tattoo based on your ideas & vision. I love to do both, but since flash doesn’t require any additional design work, it can be slotted into sooner appointment times.
How can I reserve your flash?
Please fill out my booking form to reserve a flash piece and book an appointment for it. Flash designs with or without minor modifications can be booked at any time and will be slotted into sooner appointment times than custom pieces. All available flash pieces can be found in my Instagram stories. All flash pieces require an additional $100 fee if you’d like it to be unique for you and non-repeatable. I am also taking flash suggestions where the person who submits the idea will get first dibs on the design.
Do you do customs?
Yes, I’m always happy to do customs, but I can only open my custom-specific booking form based on availability & demand. Please be aware that I typically book custom appointments about 2 months out. With customs, I will work closely with you to ensure were on the same page and will ask any questions I can think of before I start the design process. Being as upfront with me as you can about what you want or don’t want will help me design a piece you’ll love! Additionally, if you’re interested in a previous tattoo/design I’ve done, I’m happy to create a similar tattoo with major modifications such as a different plant species/variety or arrangement/layout.
What are your rates?
My rate is $400 per hour (tattoo time only) and my minimum price is $400 per person. Please fill out my booking form for a time quote. Tattoo payments are cash only!
I require a $100 non-refundable deposit that goes towards your total cost in order to book a date and time.
Do you have a drawing fee?
Any custom design may be subject to an additional $50-100 drawing fee, depending on size, detail, and time required. This does not go towards the total cost, but is refundable up to a week before your appointment or earlier if drawings are requested earlier.
What is your reschedule policy?
First reschedule is free, second requires a $50 rebooking fee, third onward requires a $100 rebooking fee.
Do you accept tips?
Yes! Tips are sooooo helpful and very much appreciated! It really really really does help offset overhead costs and shows that you appreciate the hard work and dedication I put into the design and tattoo process! For each hour I spend tattooing, there are at least 3 more hours of work behind the scenes spent scheduling, emailing, designing, drawing, making adjustments, setting up & cleaning.
